Welo's goal is to create healthy low-sugar foods that don't compromise on flavour. In no category is this more important, or perhaps as difficult, than it is for kids snack foods. Packaging these foods becomes just as daunting a challenge, as there are two wildly disparate target demographics - impulse-driven children and their health-conscious parents. We helped Welo approach both demographics at once, creating a playful set of illustrated characters and then using them to directly call attention to the health claim that matters most of all.
